About the Program

General Notes:

• This program is targeted as a scientific and STEM career exploration for upper elementary school students.

• This program is co-taught by founders Allie and Caroline

Program Structure:

Allie and Caroline will plan out each weekly 1.5 hour lesson. During the Fall 2022 program, lessons were scheduled for 5:30-7pm on Thursdays.

Lesson Structure:

Allie and Caroline do extensive research to plan engaging lessons for young children. We make slideshow presentations to begin every lesson with a broad overview of the topic of the day, and we explore and new topic each week. After the initial presentation, the kids will have two consecutive hands-on activities, where they will get to experiment, explore or do a research project on their own or with a peer. Lessons are concluded with a summary of careers in science topic of the week
